Charismatic vs Spirit-led Preachers

People mistake "Charismatic vs Spirit-led Preachers". There are many examples of the fallen "charismatic". Who do we follow? Their followers will testify to the great harm and great hurt caused. Much has been done to confound and confuse the begotten if "it were possible."

Some churches hold to the belief that they are the only "true" church. And they rule with the threat of excommunication, which then also means you have lost your salvation. They use Matt.16:19, 18:18 "whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." I've had friends and family members "excommunicated" because of convictions of the heart. Years later, they still struggle with all sorts of feelings of loss, confusion, and hurt. Believing themselves to be lost. They appear to have somewhat lost their way, trusting the "church". What is the devil doing through the "Church".

As the "Church" we have a "huge" job mopping up the mess of the "Church".

We can take great encouragement that the "true church" is not a physical organization. The "Body of Christ", Jesus will soon call together, from where ever, at His coming in all Authority, while the Holy Spirit works mightily within us each. We can be blessed, inspired, encouraged, through hearing, seeing, communicating, and serving with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. But it is God, the Holy Spirit within us that we must put our trust, follow, and be led by.

Romans 8:14 "those who are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God." And also Galatians 5:25 +22-26, 6:4,8-10, living a life of love.

I have learnt Much through "church leaders", as the Spirit guided, the Spirit gave me discernment and insight to decifer between right and wrong. But in the end, many "charismatic" have fallen through their own weaknesses, compromise and ...through not being fully humbly, led by the Spirit themselves. Charismatic, "natural" leaders who trusted themselves more than God. Wanting power, position, names, and authority over others for themselves. Or just loving it too much.

Thoughts:

A "natural" leader may just be someone that thinks they know better than everyone else ...

A great leader is someone who "truly" has a "Heart" for those he leads.

Those who want power, are the last who should have it. Those who aren't looking to attain power, but have the ability to handle it, have humility, knowledge, understanding, wisdom, wise discernment, and "Heart" and "healthy desire" are those who can serve in a position of power and be a blessing.

...The fallen "charismatic" trusted their own ability, they bolstered themselves with the sweet nothings of followers so eagerly whispering in their ear. They were salesmen that led their followers down a path of their own choosing. Whole groups of followers became compromised, conflicted, weak in Spirit, and distracted. It is God and His Spirit within us that we must follow. I have learnt so much, and been encouraged greatly, over the years, through the "fallen"(God is not in a box, He uses whomever, whatever, wherever, and whenever to accomplish His Awesome and Beautiful purpose in us each). We each have choices to make. We can "Never", and will "Never" be truly among or of the "fallen" if we are "fully" led by the Spirit. God will give us the Awesome resources and connections we need to "Bless" us.

Be mindful of the "obsessed" they can be blinded by their own obsession and not open the Spirit's lead. Be Blessed by their enthusiasm, just remember awesome truth can be mixed with error. In the end no one is completely right. The "Spirit" will guide, Always. Be intune to the Spirit within and the discernment He gives. He is a Spirit not of fear(2 Timothy 1:7, Romans 8:15), but of love, confidence, and strength, always within reach.

God is always Awesome!

With love, Henry
